" I needed a high-wattage inverter for camping and running electronics out in the field. But the first test I tried on this thing was to hook up a monster 105-amp hour deep-cycle battery to it...and then plug in my old refrigerator out in the garage. The inverter ran that fridge without a problem. The inverter's cooling fan didn't even come on! I left it going for about five minutes, but since I use that deep cycle battery for more important things in the field, I finally switched it off and plugged the fridge back in. Those USB charging ports, the dual-connetors included, the digital readout, are everything you need convert DC into fairly high levels of AC without a problem. There are actually THREE levels of charging with this unit, not just two. You have the regular AC outlets for the larger devices. You have the 12-V cigarette lighter power, which will give you up to 150 watts. Then you have the two USB port power outlets, but remember...those are only good for FIVE watts and TWO amps, which means smartphone charging, or maybe a rechargable flashlight that takes a USB connection for that. Don't try to charge your laptop with the USB outlets. Won't work at five watts. Use the AC outlets. The unit itself just feels SOLID in your hand. It's a quality product. I really believe if the power went out and you had a few high-capacity deep cycle batteries going, you could run your computer, one fridge, a small TV, and your cable box all at the same time. This review is for the 750-watt unit. Would I buy it again? Heck, yes. I'm using to power a big camping trip to Oregon in August to view the Great American Eclipse. I have no doubts it will run all the electronics, charge them as well, and let us watch movies, TV, and play video games the whole week."
