Works great! If you are running things below 150 watts then the car charger is perfect for this. Above 150 watts it is appropriate to use the clamps to hook it to a car battery. Easy to change between the two.

1000% satisfied. Bought this for a vehicle and float for a parade for Santa in our town. My wife decided she wanted a whole slew of lights on the float. 30 strings of lights, 2 50 watts audio amps, 4 blinker controllers, and 5 blue medium LEDS to light inder the trailer and the inventer never broke a sweat! It powered everything while we put the finishing touches and into the parade or 5 hours and it never got warm or skipped a beat. The fan was running, but had zero problems. I’ve had other inverters and never had one that was rock solid like this one!! I’m EXTERMELY impressed!

● please use the battery clamp cable with a connection directly to the 12V battery while you run any loads higher 150W but lower than 500W
● Do not use high power electric devices such as hair dryers, electric heaters, curling irons, vacuum connect the inverter to a battery.
● Please do not leave the power inverter in the ON position while your car is off.
● Disconnect the positive battery terminal before doing any wiring to the inverter.
● Keep the unit away from water and flammable material or in any location which may accumulate flammable fumes or gases.
